Jade G - Director of Finance

Jade was born in Houston, Texas but grew up in South Africa where she regularly volunteered with a variety of underprivileged children’s charities throughout her youth. Challenged with the adverse political and economic climate within her country, Jade felt inspired to pursue a career in finance abroad. After working in the finance industry for over 10 years from London to New York, Jade has decided to settle down with her family in Northern Virginia. A feminist and human rights activist at heart, Jade wishes to employ both her professionalism and passion to the Healing House of Jasmine. This cause is important to Jade because as a woman from a country where women's rights are often overlooked and discouraged, this is an opportunity to help survivors realize that when we stand together, we not only raise awareness, we raise ourselves. Jade is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting while working at a well know financial institution in Washington, DC.
